SpaceFromSpace is run by one person and collects as little data as possible. Here's a plain English explanation of what's collected and why.

Google Analytics (GA4) - we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. This includes pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device type, and how visitors navigate the site. IP addresses are anonymised. No personally identifiable information is stored. Microsoft Clarity - we use Microsoft Clarity for session recording and heatmaps, which helps us understand how people interact with the site. Clarity may record mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling behaviour. No personally identifiable information is captured. See Microsoft's privacy policy.
Image requests - if you submit an image request, your name, email address, location request, and any additional information you provide are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to Harry Stranger. This data is used solely to respond to your request and is not shared with third parties.
Contact form - if you use the contact form on the About page, your message is handled via Formspree. See Formspree's privacy policy.
Email newsletter - if you subscribe to archive updates, your email address is stored with Buttondown. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. See Buttondown's privacy policy.
Server logs - our hosting provider Cloudflare automatically records basic access logs including IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These are retained briefly for security purposes. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Some pages embed interactive maps from Soar Atlas. When you load these maps, Soar may set their own cookies. See Soar's privacy policy.
The shop at shop.spacefromspace.com is powered by Fourthwall. Any purchase data is handled by them. See Fourthwall's privacy policy.
